This is our big fundraiser for the team where the kids swim laps and collect pledges either per lap or as a flat donation. Swimmers will swim during their normal practice times and can earn awards for their hard work!

Date: May 30th, 2024

Time: Each age group will swim at their usual practice time.

Croc-A-thon Rules

1. Swimmer must provide their own counter (If a parent cannot be present to count, please ask another parent that is counting in the same lane or ask a Junior Coach).
2. Swimmers may not wear fins, but they may use a kickboard at any time.
3. Swimmers need to swim on the right side of the lane and allow other swimmers to pass.
4. If a swimmer stops at the wall or on the lane rope longer than 15 seconds for 8 and Up and longer than 30 seconds for 6 and Under and Learn-to-Swim, they will be considered to be finished and must exit the pool.
5. Once a swimmer exits the pool, they will be considered to be finished and may not reenter the pool, so GO TO THE BATHROOM BEFORE YOU GET IN!
6. After exiting the pool, Crocodiles will take their Lap Count Sheet to the Awards table to collect their awards and get their picture taken!

Awards

1. Certificate of Achievement with number of laps
2. CoolCroc bagtag for Crocodiles that meet a certain number of laps
3. A special Crocodile themed treat
4. End of Season Award for Overall Top Money Earner and Most Laps (1 boy and 1 girl per age group)

Pledge Sheets

1. Please calculate any per lap donations on your pledge sheet.
2. Total all donations at the bottom of the pledge sheet and write your swimmer’s name.
3. Collect pledge money.
4. Turn in pledge money in your provided envelope to the pledges box at practice by June 26th, 2024.
